The journey of Omani Abalone began in 2012 when the Ministry of Fisheries initiated global investment in aquaculture, including Abalone farming. Following extensive research conducted between 2014 to 2019 affirmed the feasibility and sustainability of Abalone farming in Oman’s waters, addressing concerns such as over-fishing and environmental preservation.
