Since opening its doors in 2014, COYA was quickly recognised as one of the most memorable dining experiences in Dubai, with a multi-dimensional platform for guests to not only dine but have a full sensory experience – its ethos blends food, drinks, music and art.
Fast-forward to 2021 and the sensory excitement is in full swing; we’re talking National Ceviche Days, Pisco Sour Sessions, Tiradito Private Lessons, Private Jazz in the Members Club and much, much more.
Whilst COYA Dubai seeks inspiration from the traditions of Peruvian cooking paired with Asian influences, the atmosphere certainly comes alive with a Latin American buzz throughout the space; the staff, the decor, those cocktails…
Having been loyal super-fans of Chef Sanjay and the COYA concept, our intrigue surrounding the all-new Puesta Del Sol menu was high (How can so many tasting plates be offered for such a comfortable sum?). Well, we’re not here to question a bargain, so let’s dive right in.
Signature menu favorites from Coya’s A La Carte offering have been weaved into the offering, so essentially guests are able to experience a full 360 degrees dining experience for a fraction of the price (The early bird, in this case, really does catch the worm.)
Welcome to Coya’s Sunset State of Mind….
The seasonal three-course menu consists of COYA’s famous guacamole with tortillas, a choice of soup, followed by two small dishes, and a main course, priced at AED350 per person. Guests will enjoy an array of special selected items from COYA’s a la carte menu, with vegetarian options for each course. Starters include wild mushroom ceviche, kale and cucumber salads, wagyu and lobster baos, grilled skewers, crispy baby squid, seabass croquettes, and salmon tacos. Diners can select from COYA’s signature main dishes such as char-grilled whole sea bream, Peruvian dried potato and cauliflower, spicy beef fillet, corn fed baby chicken, and Chilean sea bass.
After the creamy goodness of a spiced pumpkin soup and smooth guac feast, we’d suggest you opt for the Lobster Bao Buns to start, the Chilean Sea bass for main (although the spicy beef fillet is a showstopper – so best your partner orders that and you share) and finish off the feast with a ridiculously dreamy churros with chocolate-orange molten dip. The produce quality is second-to-none and the consistency? Perfect every-single-time. When it comes to a truly sensational dining experience, we’d be hard placed to find a better venue to shout about than everyone’s favourite, Coya Dubai.
Complemented by a wide range of refreshing cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages, COYA Dubai’s Puesta del Sol menu is now available to book for dining guests from 6pm to 6:30pm. Head there straight from work; you can thank us later!
